Joanne Spath, 73, Salem, formerly of Dixon, died Saturday, January 23, 2016, at the University Hospital and Clinics, Columbia. She was born July 4, 1942, a daughter of Elmer and Elizabeth (Lewis) Palenske. Survivors include: two sons, Jonathan Spath and James Spath, both of Salem; one daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Matthew Reiter, Villa Park, Illinois; one sister, Arlene Brennan, one granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Heather and Chris Krupa. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Friday, January 29, 2016, at at Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 30, 2016, at the funeral home.
