Palmer Goldammer

Palmer H. Goldammer, 85, of Centertown, Mo., passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016, at the Capital Region Medical Ctr. in Jefferson City, MO. He was born on August 6, 1930, at Lohman, Mo., to Reinhardt and Elizabeth (Fischer) Goldammer, both of who preceded him in death. Palmer was married on February 24, 1954, to Carlene Osick who survives at Tipton, Mo. He was a co-owner of Modern Interiors. Palmer served his country in Germany during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Centertown Baptist Church. Palmer enjoyed fishing, wood working and liked spending the winters in Texas. Palmer is also survived by: numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation was held from 5-7 p.m., on Wednesday, January 13, 2016, Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home, Californa. The Funeral will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2016, at the Centertown Baptist Church in Centertown, Mo. Officiating will be Bro. John Gorham and Rev. Stephen Bickel. Burial will be at the Centertown Cemetery with full military honors. Memorials are suggested to the Centertown Baptist Church or the Alzheimers Association c/o funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bowlin - Cantriel Funeral Services, 100 S. Oak St. California, Mo.
