Thomas M. "Tom" Fennewald, 66, of Jefferson City, passed away Monday, January 11, 2016, at Capital Region Medical Center. He was born January 24, 1949, in Jefferson City, a son of the late Edward and Marie (Hoer) Fennewald. Tom was a 1967 graduate of Helias High School, and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in May 1972, from the University of Central Missouri. On August 11, 1985, Tom was united in marriage in Kansas City, to Carolyn (Sallee) Brann, who preceded him in death on February 22, 1998. Tom spent most of his career in Distribution Management, working for such companies as Unitog Company of Kansas City, where he was the National Marketing Operations Manager; Wang Labs, Inc. in San Francisco, where he supervised the start-up of a new Distribution Center and was the Western Area Distribution Manager; and the Schlage Division of Ingersoll-Rand Corp in Lenexa, Kan., where he was the Manager of Worldwide Distribution Operations that shipped product to all 50 states and 52 foreign Countries. Most recently, Tom worked for Cowley Distributing, Inc. of Jefferson City, where he worked in the Accounting Department. Tom was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. from 1970 until he was honorably discharged in November, 1976. Tom was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Jefferson City. His greatest passion was driving his Corvette. Tom is survived by his step-son: Dustin D. Brann (wife Dr. Suzanne Grannan) of Carmel, Indiana; three grandchildren: Meghan, Cait and Lia; and two brothers: Ronald Fennewald (significant other Beverly Coleman) of Jefferson City; Larry Fennewald (wife Grace) of Jefferson City. Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2016, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Memorial Services will follow at 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2016, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Interment will be Private at Resurrection Cemetery.
