Ruby Stevens

Ruby Stevens, 95, formerly of Eldon, passed away Friday, January 1, 2016, at Shangri-La Rehab & Nursing Center in Blue Springs, Mo. She was born June 29, 1920, in Kellogg, Iowa, the daughter of the late Ray Wiser and Vedah (Milburn) King. Ruby was a member of the Assembly of God Church of Independence, Mo. Survivors include: daughter, Joyce Petrie (Jerry); son, Lester Stevens; grandchildren, Dana Guest, Shelly McColm, Kevin Currence, Nathan Stevens; and eight great-grandchildren. Graveside Services will be Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at 1 p.m., at the Olean Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Mo.
