Genevieve L. "June" Barnthouse

Genevieve L. "June" Barnthouse, 96, of Jefferson City, died Thursday, January 22, 2015. She was born December 9, 1918, in Meta, Mo., the daughter of Joseph J. and Elizabeth M. (Radmacher) Nacke. A 1936 graduate of Meta High School, she was the Co-Valedictorian and delivered the commencement speech for her high school graduation. She was united in marriage on October 11, 1947, in Jefferson City to William R. "Bill" Barnthouse, who preceded her in death on August 8, 2013. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday, January 31, 2015, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, with the Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 12 noon. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum. Arrangements are under the direction of Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, Jefferson City, Mo.
