James A Hurst

Hurst, James A., age 85, of Rocky Mount, Mo., passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church (Eldon, Mo.) He was the beloved husband of the late Darlene Z. Hurst (nee Bryan); loving father of Deborah (Steven) Schisler, Mary (Leon) Schnable, Dolores (Robert) Urban, Joan (Timothy) Turner, Caroline Dittmann, James (Janalee) Hurst, William (Angela) Hurst and Robert (Christine) Hurst; cherished grandfather of 27 grandchildren and 25 great- grandchildren; dearest brother of Mary Jane Stewart, Sr. Margaret Hurst, S.S.N.D., Sr. Mary Bede Hurst, S.S.N.D., John "Jack" (Claudette) Hurst, Joan (Edwin) Albes and eight late brothers and sisters. Funeral will be at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., St. Louis, Mo. on Friday, January 30, 10:15 a.m. then to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (Arnold, Mo.) for 11:00 a.m. Mass. Interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, 4-9 p.m. at Kutis Funeral Home. Memorials suggested to the Franciscan Monastery (Washington D.C.) or the School Sisters of Notre Dame (St. Louis, Mo.) appreciated.
