Bruce William Runge, 46, of Gerald, Mo., passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015, at his home. He was born August 11, 1968, in Monmouth, Ill. After graduating from Linn State Technical College he worked as a machinist at Rotometrics in Eureka, Mo., for over 20 years. He served in the United States Army. He is survived by: his wife, Karen Runge, Gerald, Mo.; stepdaughter, Danielle Johnson; stepgrandson, Quincy Moore; mother, Veronica (Silvers) Runge, Holts Summit, Mo.; brothers, Mark (Adriana) Runge, Kansas City, Mo., Edward (Lori) Runge, Findlay, Ohio and Michael (Jessica) Runge, Ft. Madison, Iowa; sisters, Lisa (Randy) Gilpin, Wichita, Kan., Diane (Kevin) Berner, Keokuk, Iowa, Ellen Runge, Columbia, Mo. and Laura (Brent) McHugh, Columbia, Mo.; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his father, Robert A. Runge. Bruce was buried with Military Honors in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
