Lorenzo A. Corleone, age 38, of St. Louis Mo., passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo. Lorenzo was born January 30, 1976, in St. Louis, a son of the late Lawrence Higgins and Helene Higgins. On July 3, 2004, Lorenzo was united in marriage to Rachel Ann Boessen of Holts Summit, Mo. She survives in their home at Independence, Mo. Lorenzo is also survived by his three children, Helaina Corleone, Brandon Matthew and Nathan Matthews; his mother, Helene Higgins of Fulton; two sisters, Rhonda Higgins of Sacramento, Calif. and Geraldine Blackmon of Jefferson City; and several nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Higgins. Funeral arrangements will be held on Saturday, January 24 at 10:30 a.m. at The Crystal Pavilion, 4621 S. Shrank Dr., Independence, MO 64055.
