Harry Archie Forbes, 84, of Gravois Mills, passed away Monday, January 5, 2015, at Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles. He was born on November 8, 1930, a son of the late Archie Forbes and Mary (Blaylock) Daniels. He was united in marriage on October 15, 1966, in Miami, Okla., to Rose Mary Berger, who preceded him in death. Harry was a united states veteran, serving in the Army where he received numerous certificates and achievements. He was employed with Marcum Hauling Inc., in Sedalia. He is survived by: two sons, Tony Forbes and Wayne Burns; seven daughters, Linda Barber, Debbie Ware, Mary Adams, Linda Kay, Dianna Askey, Jacqueline Crawford, Margret Glick; several grand and great-grandchildren; and his caregiver, Donna Roberts. He was preceded in death by: a son, Paul Bailey; one brother, Commodore Forbes; and one sister, Elaine Moore. Funeral services for Harry will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2015, at the Rea Chapel in Sedalia, Mo.
