Paul Curtis Ferguson, 49, of Tebbetts, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, the result of a farming accident. He was born on June 5, 1965, in Fulton, the son of Larry Ferguson and Sue (Cave) Ferguson. Paul loved the land. He was a farmer all his life and took great joy in taking care of his livestock. Paul graduated from South Callaway R-II High School in 1983. He was involved in Dixie 4-H for 10 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, being on the river in his pontoon boat, and his stock dogs, Jake and Jett. Paul is survived by his parents, Larry and Sue of Tebbetts; life partner, Wendi Vines of Tebbetts; sister, Susie Ferguson of Tebbetts; honorary uncle, John Houston; life-long friend, Henry Lindemann of Steedman; several aunts and uncles; and lots of cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Chig and Braxie Cave, and Francis and Ella Ferguson; cousins, Roger Ferguson, Lawrence Steck, Elaine Steck. Memorial services will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2015 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to Dixie Christian Church or Mt.
