Martha (Margie) Mary Meller

Martha (Margie) Mary Meller, age 84, of Lohman, Mo., passed away Thursday, January, 1, 2015, at Golden Living in Jefferson City, Mo. She was born August 18, 1930, in Jefferson City, Mo., the daughter of Henry and Martha (Pendleton) Pirner, both of whom preceded her in death. Margie graduated from St. Peter's Catholic School. She was united in marriage November 28, 1953, in Jefferson City, Mo. to James Richard Meller, who survives of the home. Margie was a teacher at St. Martin's Catholic School. While she was teaching, she was the girls softball coach. Margie was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church and the Ladies Sodality at St. Martins. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, playing cards and fishing. She will be sadly missed. Survivors include: two sons: Roy (Kathy) Meller of Lohman, and Harold Meller of Lohman; two granddaughters: Stacy (Matt) Stotts of Lohman, and Angie (Steve) Nix of Lohman; five great-grandchildren: Breanna Stotts, Samantha Stotts, Olivia Stotts, Kyla Nix and Lyssa Nix. Margie was preceded in death, along with her parents, by one brother-in-law, Tom Brondel. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 6, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Weber Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday January, 7, 2015, at 12:00 p.m., at St. Martin's Catholic Church, St. Martin's, Mo., with Father Ed Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in the St. Martin's Catholic Cemetery, St. Martin, Mo. Memorials are suggested to St. Martin's Building Fund or Intentions for Mass.
