John David Crisp

John David Crisp, 69, of Jefferson City, died Friday, November 22, 2013, at St. Mary's Health Center. He was born April 7, 1944, in California, Missouri, a son of Basil and Merle (Connor) Crisp. He was a graduate of School of the Osage High School in Lake Ozark. John was manager of the cafeteria at the Missouri Capitol for a number of years and worked in Patient Food Service at St. Mary's Health Center until his retirement in 2001. He enjoyed gambling in Las Vegas and on Missouri's riverboat casinos and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals. He is survived by one son, Shaun Crisp of Largo, Florida; and two brothers: Perry Roland Crisp of Jefferson City and Cal Wayne Crisp of Norfolk, Virginia. Private family services will be held with interment in the California City Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
