Lois Harriman

Lois Harriman, 77, of Ashland, formerly of Malta Bend, died Monday, November 11, 2013, at her home. Born November 18, 1935, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Orson Wendell (Ben) Shelnutt and Alice Anne Blosser Shelnutt. She was a 1953 graduate of Malta Bend High School and was a member of Malta Bend United Methodist Church. On January 20, 1979, she married Russ Harriman Jr., who preceded her in death on August 8, 2006. She lived in Ashland since 1979, was a member of Country Patchwork Quilt Guild in Marshall and Boonslick Quilt Guild in Columbia. Survivors include two daughters, Elaine Clouser and companion Marty Payne of Ashland, and Jeanine Davis and husband Mike of Holts Summit; two step-daughters, Michelle Pointer and husband Terry of rural Marshall and Kristin Moser and husband Mark of Dover; one step-son, Brad Harriman and wife Brenda of rural Pilot Grove; one granddaughter, Sarah Wilkinson and husband Sherman; three great-grandchildren: Riley and Davis Wilkinson and Bo Boessen; and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one granddaughter, Alicia Boessen. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 14, 2013, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall.
