Alphonzo Adams

Alphonzo Adams, 64, of Jefferson City, passed away Monday, October 21, 2013, at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born December 2, 1948, in Laurel, Mississippi, the son of Sarah Lee Adams. Alphonzo was employed with Nichols Equipment Company. He served with the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He is survived by two daughters: Alene Ruckers (Kenny D. Williams) of St. Louis and Sarah Katie Adams of Holts Summit; three grandchildren: Michael Davis, Whittley Deon Casey and Desiree Rucker and two great-grandchildren: Khalliel Isiah Alphonzo Chappel and Major Prince Calvin Alexander. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 2, 2013, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home where a funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
