Mary G. Sartor

Mary G. Sartor, 90, of Tebbetts and formerly of O'Fallon, Ill., passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at Heisinger Bluffs. She was born February 11, 1923, in Du Quoin, Ill., the daughter of the late Ferdinand J. Zeni and the late Lea E. (Walzer) Zeni. On January 8, 1944, Mary was united in marriage to Donald Hughes Sartor, who preceded her in death in April of 1988. Mary was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Holts Summit and belonged to several clubs in the area. Mary will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons, Donald Sartor and wife Donna of St. Louis, and Richard Sartor and wife Pat of Jefferson City; one daughter, Mary S. Hilger of North Carolina; one sister, Catherine Domian of St. Louis; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mary was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Jerry Hilger; one brother, Ferdinand J. Zeni Jr.; one nephew, George Robert Domian Jr.; and one niece, Dee Ann Estes. Mass services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 2, 2013, at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Holts Summit with Father Gene Higley officiating. Private interment will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery in Fulton following the service.
