Homer E. Barnhart, age 90, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away Thursday July 25, 2013, at Adams Street Place in Jefferson City, Mo. Survivors include children, Charnell Meisel of Jefferson City, Marilynn Zuck of Tuscumbia, Stanley Barnhart of Quincy, Ill., Kenneth Barnhart of Jerseyville, Ill., Roxanna Duncan of Russellville; step-children, Rita, Josephine, Emily and Jim; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, July 29, 2013, from 9 - 10 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Mo., with the Funeral Service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Pendleton Cemetery in Meta, Mo. with full military honors provided by the Eldon VFW Post #2442 of Eldon, Mo.
