Henry Alexander Imhoff, 16, of Jamestown, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2013 near Prairie Home. He was born on June 28, 1997 in Columbia, the son of David and Karla (Estes) Imhoff, both of whom survive of the home. He attended Jamestown High School. He attended St. Paul's Evangelical Church in Jamestown. He was baptized at Grace United Methodist Church. Alex enjoyed wearing suits, drawing, playing cards, swimming, reading, watching movies, and learning to play chess. He liked to play pool and spend time with his friends. The highlight of his week was attending Wednesday night Bible Study. Alex is survived by one brother, Ben Imhoff, of the home; maternal grandparents, Ted and Phyllis Miller of Gallatin, and Walt and Linda Estes of Ottumwa, Iowa; paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Ann Imhoff of Jamestown; maternal great-grandmother, Louise Shadley of Ottumwa, Iowa; aunts and uncles, Jo Ann Hendrickson and husband Keith of Jamestown, and Andy Estes and wife Tina of Albia, Iowa; five cousins, Matt Hendrickson of Jamestown, Rachel Pfaff, Mark, Joe, and Seth Estes all of Albia, Iowa. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Evangelical in Jamestown. Officiating will be Pastor Brian Bish and Rev. Janet Deneke. Burial will be in Jamestown United Methodist Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Jamestown Youth Mission Trip or John E. Steiner Memorial Pool, c/o Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, 100 S. Oak St. California, MO 65018. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.
