Mrs. Dorothy H. Morgan, age 83 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Sunday, July 14, 2013, at the Jefferson City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Dorothy was born May 5, 1930, in Rich Fountain, Mo., the daughter of Frank H. and Mary Anna Nilges Bock. She was married on October 15, 1949, in Rich Fountain, Mo., to Donald C. Morgan. A lifelong resident of the central Missouri area, Dorothy graduated from Rich Fountain School. She was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse with Capital Region Medical Center for 21 years prior to her retirement in 2002. After retirement, she was a volunteer at Capital Region Medical Center. She enjoyed cross stitching and playing bingo and cards. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include: three daughters, Sandra K. Sanning and her husband Vincent of Taos, Mo., Donna L. Branch of Holts Summit, Mo., and Mary E. Love and her husband Andy of Jefferson City, Mo.; six grandchildren, Andy Love and his wife Laura, Nicole Sanning, Robert Branch and his wife Tina, John Love and his wife Michell, Chris Sanning and his wife Dana, and Amy Branch; 12 great-grandchildren, Skylar Love, Tommie Love, Tristen Love, Domnick Marr, Cauy Love, Bryce Love, Brooke Sanning, Dalton Sanning, David Sanning, Mackenzie Sanning, Rylea Sanning, and Madisyn Branch. She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Alma Kliethermes, Rita Hodges, Margaret Toebben and Hilda Bemboom; and two brothers, Joe Bock and Clemmons Bock; and one son-in-law, Robert "Buck" Branch. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 18, 2013, in the Freeman Chapel. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Assn.
