Robert J. Boessen Jr., age 49, St. Joseph, Mo., passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013, at his home. Robert was born July 24, 1963, in Jefferson City, Mo. Survivors include his mother, Mary Cox, Raytown, Mo. and his father, Robert Boessen Sr. and step-mother, Donna of Holts Summit, Mo. He is also survived by his sister, Vicki Turnbow (Kris), Raymore, Mo. and his brother, Michael Boessen (Brenda), Raytown, Mo. and two step-brothers, Rusty Schlueter and Rick Schlueter (Sharon) and one step-sister, Cindy Helton, all of Holts Summit, Mo. and his grandmother, Mildred Boessen, Jefferson City, Mo.; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. There will be a private family service. Memorials are suggested to the Catholic Charities. Heartland Cremation in Raytown, Mo. is in charge of his arrangements.
