Donna Maxine Mobley

Donna Maxine Mobley, 84, of Jefferson City, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013, at home. She was born March 22, 1929, in Big Piney, Missouri, a daughter of the late Anderson and Leona (Walters) Good. On March 19, 1948, she was united in marriage to Adolth T. Mobley, who preceded her in death. Donna attended Big Piney School in Big Piney, Missouri. She was employed by Rawlings Sporting Goods and retired from Ramada Inn in 1984. Donna was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. She loved to travel, bowl, and visit the pastors and staff at the church. She especially loved spending time with her family. Donna is survived by three children: Thomas Mobley (Kim) of Marina, California, Randall Mobley (Dana) of Holts Summit, and Sharon Gibson (Robert) of Jefferson City; 11 grandchildren: LaWanna Green, Dawn Banta, Michelle Gibson, Ronald Mobley, Randy, Mobley, Reshonda, Mobley, Rebecca Mobley, Donna Navarro, Michael Mobley, Christina Mobley, and Christopher Mobley; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughter: Donna M. Riley; son: Ronald Mobley; granddaughter: Anna Mobley; and great-granddaughter: Brianna Mobley. Friends will be received from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 7, 2013, at the First Assembly of God Church, where funeral services will follow at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Lowell Perkins officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the First Assembly of God Church.
