Donna Anita Hill

Ms. Donna Anita Hill, age 55 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away Monday, September 17, 2012, at her home after an extended illness. Donna was born March 28, 1957, in Aberdeen, Miss., the daughter of Howard and Jimmie Nell Ausborn Hill. Her mother resides at Floy Dyer Nursing Home in Houston, Miss. She was a 1975 graduate of Aberdeen High School, Aberdeen, Miss. Donna was employed with Modern Business Systems and O.M.D. in Jefferson City for several years. She was later employed as a Senior Analyst with Ricoh, formerly IKON Office Solutions, working from her home since 1996 until ill health forced her retirement in 2011. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Aberdeen, Miss. Donna enjoyed painting, gardening, reading her Bible and books, but most importantly, she loved spending time with her family. Other survivors include: two sons, Alex Samuel Irvin and Jesse Dale Smith, both of Jefferson City, Mo. and their dads, Victor Irvin of Jefferson City, Mo. and Steve Smith of Aberdeen, Miss.; two step-sons, Travis Irvin and his fiancÈe, Amber Lamarch of St. Peters, Mo. and Bryce Irvin of St. Peters, Mo.; one granddaughter, Mackenzie Irvin of St. Peters, Mo.; two sisters, Tiawanna Anderson of Ft. Worth, Texas and her daughters, Kelly Rinehart of Ft. Worth, Texas and Stacie Malone of Corinth, Miss. and Jeanette Mitchell and her husband Mitch of Hamilton, Miss. and their children, April Miller of Aberdeen, Miss. and Michael and Brittany Mitchell of Hamilton, Miss.; one brother, Durwood Howard Hill and his wife T. Kay of Prairieville, La. and their children, Nathaniel Howard and Amber Hill She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Hill; her grandparents, Leona Crosby, Robert Franklin Hill, Colie Agnes Smitherman, and Ledrew Roland Ausborn; and one niece, Michelle Lee Mitchell. Visitation will be at the Freeman Mortuary from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 20, 2012. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 20, 2012, in the Freeman Chapel with Chaplain Bruce Gardner officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society or Hospice Compassus.
