Harold Raymond Corn, 71, of Jefferson City, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at the Life Care Center in Sullivan, Mo. He was born October 16, 1940 in southern Missouri, the son of the late Raymond and Dora (Horn) Corn. On April 27, 2005, he was united in marriage to Sandra Kay Hopkins, who survives of the home. Harold was a truck driver and later made plastic visors for welding. He later worked as maintenance and repair for St. Clair Dye Casting, where he retired. Harold served in the United States Army. He enjoyed woodworking and puttering around. Along with his wife Sandra, he is survived by one son: Rick Carwile (wife Debbie) of Owensville; three daughters: Patricia "Patty" Preiss of Jefferson City, Cindy Spurgeon (husband Randy) of Owensville, and Pam Sills (husband Mike) of Jefferson City; two sisters: Virginia "Lu" Campbell (husband Jimmy) of St. Louis and Susie Puuatuua (husband Fred) of North Carolina; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one grandchild: Elizabeth Olten. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 15, 2012, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Monte Shinkle officiating. Full military honors will follow. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital or Make a Wish Foundation.
