Albert Bernard Brandt, 81, of Jefferson City, died Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at Villa Marie. He was born on February 14, 1931, in Chamois, Mo., the son of the late George Peter and Agnes Antoinette Kemmer Brandt. Albert was a graduate of Linn High School. He was a United States Air Force veteran serving in the Korean Conflict. Albert worked for 35 years as an accountant with the Missouri Department of Revenue in the Licensing Department, retiring on March 1, 1996. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and the American Legion, Roscoe Enloe Post 5. Survivors include: one son, Michael (Elizabeth) Brandt, Rochester, N.Y.; one daughter, Tamara (Darrell) Moore, Auxvasse, Mo.; four grandchildren, Christopher Brandt, Dustin Moore, Tara Moore, and Kelsey Moore; one great-grandson, Carter Moore; one brother-in-law, Dan Litto, Jefferson City; and one niece, Diane (John) Brent, Springboro, Ohio. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Bernice Litto. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2012, at St. George Catholic Church, Linn, Mo., with the Rev. John J. Schmitz officiating. Burial with military honors will be in St. George Catholic Cemetery, Linn, Mo. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m., Saturday, at St. George Catholic Church, Linn, Mo.
