JoAnna L. Riley, 71, of Centertown, died Saturday, December 18, 2010, at Tipton Oak Manor in Tipton, surrounded by her daughter, Diane Miller and granddaughters, Stephanie Bias and Carly Hughes. She was born May 6, 1939, in Hazel, Okla., the daughter of William Wesley and Lucille Norman Coots. She was a graduate of California High School in California. JoAnna was united in marriage to Raymond Eugene Harris, who preceded her in death. On April 2, 1962, she was united in marriage in Burkburnett, Texas, to Cecil Riley, who preceded her in death in 2005. JoAnna worked as a warehouse clerk for Florsheim Shoe Company until her retirement in 1994. She was a member of St. Martins Catholic Church and a life member of the Marine Corps League Auxiliary, Samuel F. Gearhart Detachment. Joanna enjoyed spending time with her family, going for motorcycle rides with her husband Cecil, and spending time at the ocean. She is survived by one daughter, Diana Miller and husband Joe of Centertown; her mother, Lucille Stieferman of Centertown; one step-son, Leo B. Riley and wife Karen of Jefferson City; two step-daughters, Katherine Jones and husband Donnie of Burkburnett, Texas, and Deborah Law and husband Raymond of Pine Bluff, Ark.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, William W. Coots; grandson, Tommy Law; granddaughter, Sandy Riley Hammond; brother, Doyle W. Coots Sr.; and step-father, D.W. Stieferman. Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 21, 2010, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home, with Fr. Edwin Schmidt officiating. Interment was in the St. Martins Catholic Church Cemetery.
