Hazel Kirchner

Mrs. Hazel J. Kirchner, age 91 years, of Hartsburg, Mo., died Monday, December 20, 2010, at the Jefferson City Manor Care Center. Hazel was born July 17, 1919, in Callaway County, Mo., a daughter of John and Annie Coats Fletcher. She was married in 1937 in Clarksburg, Mo., to George Kirchner, who preceded her in death in 2001. A lifelong resident of the central Missouri area, Hazel was a devoted homemaker. Survivors include: one son, Ed Kirchner of Waynesville, Mo.; one daughter, Sarah Van Loo and her husband Jim of Wardsville, Mo.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, six sisters and two brothers. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 23, 2010, at Hart Hill Cemetery.
