Margaret Frances Cady, 90, of Jefferson City, died Sunday, December 19, 2010, at Adams Street Place. She was born on April 8, 1920, in Jefferson City, the daughter of the late Peter John and Otelia Ann Propst DeLong. She was united in marriage on December 27, 1941, in Jefferson City, to Glen Garland Cady, who preceded her in death on January 16, 2000. Margaret was employed with Tweedie Shoe Factory, Capital City Telephone, and was a claims examiner with Employment Security for over 30 years. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, and St. Mary's Health Center Auxiliary. She enjoyed fishing, crafts, gardening, and quilting. Survivors include: two children, Jean Moffat, Jefferson City, and Gary (Karen) Cady, Lohman; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three siblings, George (Vivian) DeLong, Jefferson City, Mary (Bob) Diefenbach, Utah, and Pete DeLong, Jefferson City. She was preceded in death by one brother, Joe I. DeLong. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Thursday, December 23, 2010, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Basil Eruo officiating. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.
