Delma Ecton

Delma Lou (Tate) Ecton, age 53, of Kaiser, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2010, at her home. She was born October 27, 1957, in Rapid City, S.D., to Delmar G. and Mary Lou (Conover) Tate. Delma graduated from Tipton High School in 1976. Delma is survived by her fiancÈ and best friend, Rod Dirks. She also leaves behind her children: two sons, Kris Elley of Sullivan and Josh Ecton of Holts Summit, and a daughter, Kendra Lou Ecton of Kaiser; three grandchildren: Krista Lee Ecton and Brooklyn and Preston James; a brother: Tim Tate and his family of Clarksburg; along with many friends and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Vernon; an infant sister, Verna Sue; and a son, Mike Ecton. Private family services will be held at a later date.
