Cindy Loretta Horn

Cindy Loretta Horn, 62, of Centertown, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at St. Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City. She was born on September 6, 1959, in Jefferson City, a daughter of the late Paul and Ioma (Cochoran) Johnson. Cindy was united in marriage on December 8, 1979 to Bill Horn. Cindy attended Jefferson City schools, Merrell University, Metro Business College and Lincoln University. She worked at Unilever, St. Mary's Hospital and Roedel Cleaning Company. Cindy was a member of Bible Way Church of Eldon. She enjoyed camping and traveling, especially to Branson. She was a talented artist who created many drawings. Cindy loved to celebrate Christmas but most of all cherished her time spent with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Bill; children: Crystal Allison (Michael), Billy Paul Horn, Shannon Papunta (Dwight), Melinda Wing (Michael) and Stacy Weir (Benjamin); siblings: Judy Johnson (Ronnie), Gene Johnson (Ruth), James Johnson, Charles Johnson (Carla), Mary McKibben (Rick), Schelly LaHart (Raymond) and Helen McKibben; 13 grandchildren: Jalynn (Kat), Ethan, Skyler, Eli, Avalon, Haden, Robert, Trinity, Christopher, Michael, Zachary, Katie, and Emily; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Paula Mae Johnson; niece: Shawanda Slote and nephews: Joey Johnson and Jeremiah McKibben. Friends will be received from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 17, 2021, at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors with funeral services at 2:00 p.m. Interment will immediately follow at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
