DanaLee Elizabeth Blain, 47, of Jefferson City, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at University of Missouri Hospital, Columbia Mo. She was born on August 8, 1974, in Columbia, daughter of Linda Lee (Fry) Blain and the late James (Jim) Roger Blain. Dana's favorite pastime was reading. She enjoyed watching fireworks at the 4th of July celebration and working in the haunted house on Halloween. She liked traveling with her uncle Kenny, and especially loved singing gospel songs with her aunt Brenda. She is survived by: her son, Jason Blain,; three granddaughters; and one grandson, all of Jefferson City; her mother, Linda Stuart of Jefferson City; brothers: James (Jay) Blain (Erin) of Jefferson City, Mike Blain (Christa) of Bolivar, and Scott Baim of Jefferson City; an aunt, Brenda Walsch (Kenneth) of St. Louis, and uncle, Steve Fry (Marilyn) of Tuscumbia. Also many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Dana was preceded in death by: her father; uncle, William (Billy) Fry; grandparents: Lawrence and Mary Fry, Linda Walsch and Marvin Thompson. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:30-11 a.m. followed by funeral service at 11 a.m., all at First Assembly of God, Jefferson City.
