Olivia Maxine Byrd, 92, of Eldon, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City, Missouri. She was born November 19, 1928, in Union, Missouri, the daughter of the late Elmer and Ruby "Velma" (Scrivner) Crowe. Maxine was employed with Southwestern Bell Telephone for 28 years before retiring. She was a member of the Waldo Avenue Baptist Church of Kansas City, Mo. and attended the First Baptist Church of Eldon, Mo. She was a longtime member of the Eastern Star. Survivors include: daughters, Deborah Blomberg (Rick) of Jefferson City, Mo., Rebecca Houston (Ron) of Barnett, Mo.; four grandchildren, Stacy Singer, Jason Fitzpatrick, Justin Houston and Jennifer Houston; two great-grandchildren, Corbin Singer (Lindsey) and Courtney Oliva Singer; a niece, a nephew, several cousins including one special cousin, Judy Fitzpatrick. A brother, Dale Crowe and a nephew, Robert Crowe preceded her in death. Visitation will be Saturday, June 12, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. 11:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Mo. with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David White officiating. Burial will follow at Enloe Cemetery in Russellville, Mo. Memorials in her name are suggested to the Samaritans Purse. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Mo.
