Alberta Patsy (Robinett) ThompsonJuly 16th, 2021
Alberta Patsy (Robinett) Thompson - "Pat", passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, in her home. She was born on October 28, 1942, in Jefferson City, Missouri. She has two children, Harley Gene Thompson Jr. and Sheila Diane Thompson. She has five grandchildren, Cody Thompson, Dwan (Colby) Siebuhr, Dawn Wydra, Domineck (Sarah) DeBrodie, and Sierra (Richard) Makoski. She has 13 great-grandchildren, Blake, Jaxon, Ethan, Harley Jean, Lucas, Hope, Liam, Nova, Gemma, Brenna, Elena, Remy, and Alanso. She is survived by her mother, Oletta Marie (Love) Robinett; and three brothers, Albert Robinett Jr., Mark Robinett Sr., and Mike Robinett Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Gene Thompson Sr., and father, Albert Patrick Robinett. She was an avid bowler, served as the Bowling Secretary for the junior program for 12+ years, and was inducted into the JC Bowling Hall of Fame. At 16 years old, she sang on the Ozark Opry and met Porter Wagoner. She was also a vocalist for the Midnight Ramblers for 28 years. She enjoyed archery, bowling, playing cards (especially Canasta and Spades), sewing for her family, genealogy, and watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. "Aunt Patsy" made the BEST cinnamon rolls. She talked a lot about her church family and how much she missed going, but she never lost touch with anyone. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, and friend, but Pat never knew a stranger and could carry a conversation with anyone; a trait she got from her father. She valued her family above anything. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 19, 2021, at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
