Harold J. Meller, 65, of Lohman, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at his father's home. He was born on August 13, 1955, in Jefferson City, a son of James and Martha (Pirner) Meller. Harold was a 1973 graduate of Russellville High School. He started his work career with Von Hoffman Press in 1973, and retired after more than 30 years of service. Harold was a member of St. Martins Catholic Church. He enjoyed farming with his family and neighbors, playing golf, hunting and playing cards with friends. Harold liked working on and restoring old tractors. He cherished spending time with his nieces. He is survived by his father: James Meller of Lohman; brother: Roy Meller (Kathy) of Lohman; nieces: Stacy Stotts (Matt) and Angela Nix (Steven) and five great-nieces: Breanna, Kyla, Samantha, Lyssa and Olivia. Harold was preceded in death by his mother: Martha Meller. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2021, at Weber-Millard Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at Weber-Millard Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow in St. Martins Catholic Church Cemetery. The family suggests that social distancing and precautions be followed, including wearing of masks during attendance. Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Martins Catholic Church.
