Elizabeth Sanderson Hart

Elizabeth Sanderson Hart, 101, of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, formerly of Jefferson City, passed away January 10, 2021, in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. She was born April 13, 1919, in Jefferson City, Missouri, the daughter of the late Charles and Eliza (Trigg) Sanderson. Elizabeth was united in marriage on July 24, 1937, in Jefferson City to Herbert Theodore Hart Sr., who preceded her in death on May 20, 1987. She was a former member of New Hope Baptist Church where she was involved in missionary work and served as an usher. Survivors include her son, Vincent Hart, Pennsylvania; two daughters in-law, Helen Hart and Harmilee Hart; several grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and other extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Haskell Hart and Herbert Hart Jr.; one daughter, Kathy Cousin; and three sisters, Lenora Roundtree, Helen Bagby, and Bertha Ramey. Visitation will start at 1 p.m., Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with graveside service to follow at 1:30 p.m. at Longview Cemetery. The general public is welcome to attend services while following social distancing guidelines. Facial coverings are required while in attendance.
