Mark Thomas Wiethaupt

Mark Thomas Wiethaupt, 63, of Eldon, Missouri, passed away Monday, February 1, 2021, at his residence in Eldon, Missouri. He was born April 15, 1957, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of the late William and Norma (Gibbs) Wiethaupt. He loved and enjoyed spending time with all of his nieces and nephews. Mark was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Eldon, Mo. He was employed with the Jefferson City News Tribune in Jefferson City, Mo. for over 20 years before his retirement. Survivors include: son, Keith Wiethaupt (Maura) of Imperial, Mo.; daughter, Julie Wiethaupt (Jason Johnson) of Osage Beach, Missouri; two grandchildren, Alyssa Rose and Lucy Caroline Wiethaupt; brother, John Wiethaupt (Carol) of St. Peters, Mo.; sister, Betty Holland (John) of Eldon, Mo.; and sister-in-law, Judy Wiethaupt of St. Peters, Mo. One brother, Bill Wiethaupt preceded him in death. Per his wishes, his body will be cremated and funeral services will be planned at a later date. Memorials in his name are suggested to the American Lung Association. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Mo.
