Sally Lee Allen

Sally Lee Allen, 60, of Jefferson City, died Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Capital Region Medial Center. She was born October 3, 1960, in Jefferson City and attended Jefferson City High School. Sally was a very proud grandma. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and had been a member of Southridge Baptist Church. She was active in her church life, teaching Sunday school, leading activities at Wednesday night church and was active in the Awana children's ministry. On August 20, 2011, Sally was united in marriage in Jefferson City to Gary Allen, who survives at their home. Other survivors include her mother, Marion "Vicki" Neely of Jefferson City; her father, Leon Neely (Ruth Ann) of Jefferson City; two children: Aubrey Armes (Joe) of Seattle, Washington, Nate Neely (Billie Simpson) of Hartsburg; two stepsons: Jason Allen of Jefferson City, Jeremy Allen of Columbia; one brother, Nathan Neely (Donna) of Centertown; and one granddaughter, Scarlet Neely. She was preceded in death by a sister, Rebekah Neely. Friends will be received from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 6, 2021, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, where a memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Brian Credille officiating. Private graveside services will be held in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Callaway County. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Rape and Abuse Crisis Service.
