Linda Diane Barker, 70, of Fulton, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 30, 2021, at University of Missouri Hospital with her family by her side. She was born on November 20, 1950, in Flint, Michigan, a daughter of the late Earl Husketh and Loretta (Wilson) Husketh. She was united in marriage to Robert Barker in March of 2016. She was a 1968 graduate of Charleston High School in Charleston, Missouri. Linda was a gifted musician and vocalist. When she was a very young girl her father gifted her with a guitar which she promptly taught herself to play. She sang with several gospel groups over the years and was a talented songwriter. Linda was a devoted member of Harvest Time Ministries and wore many hats; pianist, secretary, board member, Sunday school teacher and Bible study leader. Linda enjoyed the outdoors and loved to fish, hunt and garden. Most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren were times she treasured. Linda is survived by her children: Larry Michael Griffith (Rena) and Debra Maier (David); siblings: Gary Husketh, Jerry Husketh, Debra Baker and Karen Brooks; grandchildren: Matthew Maier (Alyssa), Becky Otwell (Austin), Jennifer Maier, Kristina Sheldon (Randy), Michael Berry, Dustin and Kai McCoy, Gabriel and Gracie Griffith; and great-grandson, Simon Maier. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Barker. Friends will be received on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Jason Waterman officiating. Those unable to attend may watch the service live on Linda's tribute wall on the millardfamilychapels.com website beginning at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
