Pauline Julie Gerloff, 56, of Chamois, died Saturday, July 24, 2021. She was born April 27, 1965, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Ervin and Adele (McGuire) Lietzow. Pauline was a 1983 graduate of Chamois High School, earned her LPN degree from Nichols Career Center in Jefferson City and her RN degree from State Technical College in Linn. On October 15, 1997, Pauline was united in marriage to Leonard Martin Gerloff, who died on July 24, 2021. She started her nursing career at the Owensville Medical Clinic and worked for nearly 20 years as a nurse at the Jefferson City Correctional Center. Pauline enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and family, mushroom hunting, fishing and deer hunting. After her graduation from State Tech, she very much looked forward to never having to study again. Survivors include two children: Allen Starke (Sabrina), Yvonne "Jo" Reed (Debra); three brothers: Glenn Lietzow (Lesa), Troy Lietzow, Tracy Lietzow; three sisters: Debbie Ridgeway (Joe), Linda McKague, Cindy Kuhn (Alan); and five grandchildren: Cali Starke, Letti Starke, Wyatt Starke, Adellyn Reed and Dawson Haslag. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Adele Lietzow, and a brother-in-law, Vernon David McKague. Friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, August 1, 2021, at the Chamois Community Center. Graveside services will follow at 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the Mint Hill Cemetery, followed by a Celebration of Life at the Gerloff Family River Lot, next to the Chamois city park, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of MILLARD FAMILY CHAPELS, Second and Market Street, Chamois, MO 65024.
