Sandra Kay Sneller

Sandra Kay Sneller, 68, of Jefferson City, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021, at Boone County Health Center. She was born on May 16, 1952, a daughter of the late Leroy and Caroline (Bauer) Meister. Sandra was united in marriage on May 2, 1970, in Jefferson City to Robert Ray Sneller Sr. Sandy was a 1970 graduate of Jefferson City High School. She was a hair stylist for many years. She worked for Dix Nursery in the craft department and retired from Central Bank. Sandy was very involved with her community. She was a member of Encouragement Through Caring (ETC), Operation Bugle Boy, Relay for Life, Boost BBQ, the American Cancer Society and the Calvary Gift Store. Other than volunteering, her passion was interior design, to include decorating the interior of Tonanzio's in New Bloomfield and teaching macrame classes. She was very quick with a pick machine and wire! She started "Honey Creek Crafts" and loved to attend and sell at craft shows. Sandy had a big heart and was willing to do anything for anyone. Above all, she was very proud of her family and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Robert; children, Rob (Christy) Sneller of Asheville, North Carolina and Tracie (Michael) Brown of Holts Summit; grandchildren: Hope and Paige Sneller and Madilyn and Evan Brown; and sister, Carol (Gene) Carter. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Meister. Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 29, 2021, at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Holts Summit. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Nolan Wynn officiating. Interment will be held at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society.
