Albert R. Placke

Albert R. Placke, age 92, of Sunrise Beach, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City. He is survived by his daughters, Karen Placke, in the home Al and Rosemary built and loved, and Kathy Hawkins and husband Jim of Lenexa, Kan.; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. A celebration of Albert's life with full military honors will be 1 p.m., Friday, April 23, at the Kidwell-Garber Laurie/Sunrise Beach Chapel.
