Ronald M. Schubert

Ronald M. Schubert, age 71, of Meta, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020, at his home. He was born in Jefferson City on August 25, 1949, son of Almon and Loretta Mae (Rockelman) Schubert. On December 8, 1973, in Jefferson City, Ronald was united in marriage to Dianna C. Scheulen, who survives at their home. Before retiring, Ronald was employed at Allied Van Lines and DeLongs. He enjoyed attending garage sales and spending time outdoors taking his mule (ATV) for a drive and taking road trips. He cherished the time he spent with his family and his grandchildren were his pride and joy. Ronald was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Babbtown. In addition to his loving wife, Dianna, he is also survived by three sons, Gabriel Schubert (April), Jeremiah Schubert (Nicole), and Joshua Schubert; six grandchildren, Ashlee Steffensen (Rob), Kaytlin Schubert, Jeremiah Schubert II, Kayla Schubert, Skye Schubert, and Kaleb Schubert; two great-granddaughters, Catalina and Lia; mother, Loretta Mae Schubert; brother, Neal Schubert; five in-laws, Geraldine Berry (Gerald), Raymond Scheulen (Sherrie), Linda Pace (David), Richard Scheulen, and Melvin Scheulen (Bev); and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Almon Schubert; in-laws, Elizabeth Scheulen, George Scheulen, Kenneth Scheulen, Genevieve Branch, Jeannette Ripka, and Daniel Scheulen; grandparents, Theodore and Lessie Rockelman; and uncle, Theodore Jr. A private family service will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2020. The public is welcome to attend the graveside service at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, at St. John's Cemetery in Babbtown with Pastor Gerald Scheperle officiating. Facial masks and social distancing are strongly encouraged for those attending the services. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. John's Lutheran Church, Babbtown.
