Kent Lee Hunter

Kent Lee Hunter, 58, of Holts Summit, Mo., passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at University of Missouri Hospital, Columbia, Mo. Kent was born on October 30, 1961 in Jefferson City, Mo., the son of David Kenneth Hunter and Ellen Ann (Khan) Hunter, who preceded him in death. He was a graduate of Jefferson City High School in Jefferson City, Mo. in 1980. Kent worked at Westgate Lanes for over 25 years and served as the Director/Coach of the Capital City Youth Bowling Association. Kent bowled in ABC (USBC) tournaments at the national, state and local levels, and nightly leagues; served on the Jefferson City Bowling Association Board of Directors and MO Capital Area Youth Association board; and was member of the Jefferson City Bowling Hall of Fame. Also, he was employed with Data Comm as a program trainer which allowed him to travel worldwide, then employed with OMD as a contract coordinator. Kent was a golfer and avid local sports fan who loved the Jefferson City Jays. Survivors include: his sister, Marsha Cave of New Bloomfield, Mo. and nephew, Cody Cave of New Bloomfield, Mo.
