Laura Raelene Snellen-Crocker, 48, of St. Martins, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 28, 1972 at St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City, a daughter of Larry Ray and Patricia (Barrett) Snellen. She was united in marriage on September 21, 1996 to David Crocker, who survives at their home. She was a 1990 graduate of Jefferson City High School. She was employed with Missouri Dept. of Elementary and Secondary Education. Laura held a strong Christian faith. She will be remembered for making many relationships and always willing to help those she knew. She was limited in her mobility in recent years which led her to making many special friendships on social media. She enjoyed online games, word games, music, dancing, and loved living life in general making each moment count. Laura is survived by her mother: Patricia Snellen of Jefferson City; husband: David Crocker of the home; father and mother-in-law: Gary and Barbara Crocker of Russellville; one sister: Christine Sublette (David) of Jefferson City; brother: Troy Snellen (Greg Nelson) of Columbia, twin brother: Jason Snellen (Tara) of Jefferson City; three nieces; three nephews; one great- niece; two great-nephews; one uncle: Charles Barrett; one aunt: Deborah Barrett; her beloved pets: Chance, Shyla, Kokomo, and Elsie. A special mention to Shayna Sinor, a niece who was raised with Laura like a sister who helped care for her in recent times. She was preceded in death by her father: Larry Snellen; one uncle: Marvin Barrett; one aunt: Caroline Cliburn; and one great- nephew: Joshua Sinor. Laura was compassionate, and loved her family deeply. She will be missed tremendously. A Celebration of Laura's life will be conducted in the spring of 2021.
