Gladys C. Fritchley, age 87, of Linn, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Gladys was born on June 6, 1933, in Linn, a daughter to the late Paul and Marie (Wilbers) Moeller. Gladys attended Campground school near Vosholl. On October 4, 1952, she was united in marriage to Harold Hoelscher in Linn. Harold preceded her in death on April 18, 1971. She was united in marriage on November 11, 1972, to Buell Bunch in Linn. Buell preceded her in death on May 15, 1982. She was united in marriage on June 11, 1993, to Tommy J. Fritchley in Linn. Tommy survives at their residence. Gladys helped her husband Harold own and operate a dairy farm near Osage Bend. She later went to work for Linn Manufacturing, McGraw Edison and Modine. Gladys was a member of St. George Catholic Church in Linn and the St. Ann's Ladies Sodality. Gladys enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, watching the butterflies, sewing and quilting. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her husband Tommy of 27 years, Gladys is survived by two sons, Gilbert Hoelscher and his wife Helen of Tulsa, Okla. and Dennis Hoelscher and his wife Sarah of Linn; one daughter, Joan Dudenhoeffer and her husband Dave of Linn, 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Ronnie Moeller and his wife Patti of Linn; along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and two previous husbands, Gladys was preceded in death by two sons, Loyd Hoelscher and Jerry Hoelscher; one niece, Jody Hoelscher; one brother, Albert Moeller; and two sisters, Betty Braun and Frieda Buchta. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at St. George Catholic Church in Linn with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Colin P. Franklin as the Celebrant. Interment will be in the St. George Parish Cemetery. Facial coverings and social distancing are encouraged while in attendance.
