Barbara "Barbi" Irene Wicks

Barbara "Barbi" Irene Wicks, 65, of Slocomb, Alabama, formerly of Jefferson City, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama with her family by her side. She was born November 8, 1955 in Arvada, Colorado, a daughter of the late Lee Daniels and Barbara Irene (Reasoner) Caster. She was a graduate from Merrell University and practiced as a licensed cosmetologist for many years. Barbi enjoyed playing bingo, collecting anything with elephants, cooking, spending time with her family, and most of all treasured her grandchildren and the time she had with them. She is survived by two sons: Shane Wicks (Dee) of Jefferson City, Mo. and Justin Wicks (Hanna) of Norman, Okla.; five grandchildren: Marcy, Jude, Rylenne, Leah, and Gavin; one brother: Rick Daniels of Denver, Colo.; and three sisters: Linda Keck of Denver, Colo., Rhonda Escabedo of Snyder, Texas, and Debbie Lile of Pueblo, Colo. She was preceded in death by one brother: Randy Reasoner. A private family memorial is planned for a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America.
