Michael Jason Fox, 12, of Jefferson City, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at St. Mary's Hospital as a result of an automobile accident. He was born September 14, 2007, in Jefferson City, the son of Jason William and Wendy Jesenia (Flores) Fox. Michael was currently attending Thomas Jefferson Middle School where he had just completed the sixth grade. His favorite subjects were math and science. He played the cello in the school's orchestra. Michael was active in the Boy Scouts Troop 10 where he enjoyed camping and archery. He also liked to swim, play video games, be with his friends; especially his best friends Kyle, Paul and Harrison, (also known as The Potato Clan), play with animals, and spend time with his family, especially his younger cousins. Survivors include his parents, Jason and Wendy Fox, Jefferson City; three sisters, Jacqueline (Tyler) Wienecke, St. Charles; Jasmine Fox, Jefferson City; Julianna Fox, Jacksonville, Fla.; his paternal grandparents, William and Nancy Fox, Holts Summit; great-grandfather Floyd Kruger, Cloquet, Minn.; maternal grandmother, Liberty Freedom, Jefferson City; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family members. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, May 29, 2020, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with Pastor Noe Angel and Pastor Andy Schmidt officiating. The service will be live streamed for those who wish to watch from home. The link can be found on Michael's obituary page at www.dulletrimble.com. The general public is welcome to attend the services while following social distancing guidelines. Please stay six feet apart and avoid close contact. Anyone is welcome and encouraged to wear personal masks or other personal protective equipment while in attendance. Seating will be limited for the funeral due to social distancing guidelines. Entombment will follow at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Memorials are suggested to Boy Scout Troop 10 or to the Jefferson City Animal Shelter.
