Paula Louise Jenkins

Paula Louise Jenkins, 62, of Jefferson City, died Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born July 9, 1957, in Granite City, Illinois, a daughter of Paul and Louella (Donald) Albers. On April 25, 1987, she was united in marriage to Kenneth "Kenny" Jenkins. They had one daughter, Emily. Paula graduated from Marshfield High School in Marshfield, Missouri in 1975. In 1984, Paula and her husband Kenny created and co-owned the Professional Phone Shop. She continued her career in management at STI Technologies. She was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Paula loved music and to dance. She was an avid reader, writer, and poet. She enjoyed word puzzles and crochet. Paula also enjoyed traveling the world with her daughter. She is survived by her daughter, Emily. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Lilly, and grand-dog, Ellie. Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Louella, as well as her husband, Kenny. Friends will be received from 5 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 23, 2020, at Union Hill Baptist Church. A Celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, January 24, 2020, at Union Hill Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
