Marjorie Lockwood

Marjorie Lockwood, age 96, of Linn, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at General Baptist Nursing Home in Linn. Marjorie was born September 21, 1923, in Ryors, a daughter to the late Charles and Sylvia (Musick) Weiher. She attended a one room schoolhouse in Ryors. On May 17, 1941, she was united in marriage to Robert Morgan Lockwood in Old Monroe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on October 29, 2006. Marjorie enjoyed traveling and reading. She loved nature, especially watching birds and working in her flower gardens. Marjorie is survived by one sister-in-law, Laura Mae Huot of the State of North Carolina along with many friends. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 20, 2020, at Ryors Ebenezer Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Barb Zastrow officiating. Interment will be in the Ryors Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Ryors Cemetery Fund.
