Carolyn Rose (Mueller) Lueckenotte, 72, of Centertown, passed away Friday, January 10, 2020, at Heisinger Bluffs after a courageous fight with cancer. She was born August 26, 1947, in Osage Bluff, Missouri, the daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Jacobs) Mueller. She was a 1965 graduate of Eugene High School. On June 3, 1967, at St. Peter Cathedral Church in Jefferson City, she was united in marriage to Leonard Herman Lueckenotte, who survives. Carolyn worked for the Missouri Highway Patrol, KOPI, and retired from the Missouri National Guard. She was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church and proudly joined St. Martin Catholic Church on August 9, 2019. Carolyn loved her family and enjoyed cooking and baking for them. Along her journey she was a den mother, sewed and created memorable ceramic keepsakes. Later in life, she enjoyed traveling and shopping with the girls. Survivors include her husband, Leonard Lueckenotte; two children, Debbie Lueckenotte and Doug Lueckenotte; one grandson, Josh (Reba) Lueckenotte; one great-grandchild, Cash Lueckenotte; one sister, Ann (James) Twehus; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a grandson, Kyle Lueckenotte. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Martin Catholic Church in St. Martins with the Rev. Stephan Jones officiating. Burial will be in St. Martin Catholic Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Martin Catholic School or to Hospice Compassus.
