Clyde Eugene Fisher

Clyde Eugene Fisher, 71, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2020, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 9, 1948, in Jefferson City, a son of the late Paul W. and Nettie E. (Bryan) Fisher. Clyde was united in marriage on October 27, 1969, in Lawton, Oklahoma to Kathryn L. Rennie. Clyde attended Cole R-V Public Schools in Eugene, Missouri. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Clyde attended Linn State Technical College and received an Associate's Degree in Auto Body. He did automobile body work for several years. Clyde was an all-around handyman and did electrical, plumbing and carpentry work. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. Clyde is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kathryn; son: Michael Fisher (Carissa) of Bentonville, Arkansas; daughter: Tracy Fisher of Jefferson City; brothers: Tom Fisher (Ruby) of Wichita, Kansas, George Fisher (Mary) of Jefferson City, Raymond Fisher (Tina) of Judsonia, Arkansas and Ricky Fisher (Ruth) of Henley; three grandchildren: Ethan Fisher, Austin Fisher and Cade Fisher and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Betty Ann Spence and Bertha Mae Goff and brothers: James Fisher, Paul Fisher, Karlos Fisher and Ralph Fisher. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 2020, at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors with Funeral Services following at 11:00 a.m. Interment with full military honors will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Samaritan Center or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
