Nancy Ann Dill

Mrs. Nancy Ann Dill, age 76, of Linn, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2020, at her home. Nancy was born on December 16, 1943, a daughter to the late Paul and Geraldine Baker in Linn. With her parents, she was a member of Oklahoma Church of Christ. Nancy was united in marriage to Leander E. Dill on June 1, 1963, at St. Peters Catholic Church in Jefferson City and recently celebrated their 57th anniversary. Nancy was a lifelong resident of Linn, having graduated from Linn High School in 1961. She was active in high school as a cheerleader and in later years was active in the PTA. She really enjoyed float decorating for all the school parades. After graduating high school, Nancy worked for the Department of Revenue in Jefferson City. In 1977, Leander and Nancy became co-owners of Linn Ford Tractor, retiring in July 2008, after 31 years. Nancy loved to travel, going on numerous trips including a worldwide Ford-New Holland dealer meeting in England. As well as numerous trips to visit her grandchildren before they moved closer to home. She loved music and going to concerts and theaters. She was always very creative and loved to do arts and crafts. Nancy spent a number of years making ceramics and leaves her family with many handmade items that will be treasured and passed down for many generations to come. She enjoyed collecting Madame Alexandra dolls, a passion she picked up when her granddaughter Megan was born, starting a collection for her as well. Nancy had a lifelong passion for fitness and exercise. She was very proud of the many activities her grandchildren participated in. Nancy was a wonderful cook and shared her recipes with her daughter-in-law and grandchildren for future generations to enjoy. She leaves her family with great memories of her special holiday meals. Nancy's family and friends will miss her dearly and will remember her always. She is survived by her husband, Leander Dill, of Linn; her son, Jeff Dill and his wife Kelly of Wildwood, Missouri; her two grandchildren, Megan and Tyler Dill; a sister, Virginia Voss; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 7, 2020, at St. George Catholic Church in Linn. Mass of Christian Burial follow at 11:00 a.m. with Father Daniel Merz as the celebrant. A private interment ceremony will be held at a later date.
